Descent to Madness

Many believe they are beyond the reach of psychosis,

Any of its multitude of variants or combinations.

Deniers of such things often suffer all the more,

Never growing because of their own sin.

Everlasting plague within a doubtful mind

Submitting to none but a new demented phobia;

Shutting out the truth is the cause of self-odium.
