Call for Submissions
Writers and artists deserve to have their work heard and shared with the world. The human race shares experiences that are familiar to some and different from others. No matter what, people are all connected by one thing: the human condition.
For this upcoming issue, Conditions is seeking stories and visual art from writers and artists that deal with the various conditions of the human condition including, but not limited to birth, learning, emotion, aspiration, morality, conflict, and death. Our magazine accepts fictional stories, personal essays, and poems, and also submits pieces of art that match these themes. We want to collect pieces for this magazine in order to have a variety of pieces for our audience to read. Shared experiences are what makes this literary magazine flourish, and we would like you to be a part of it.
If you wish to submit to our project, please keep these requirements (or suggestions, rather) in mind:
Fiction pieces must be under fifteen pages as well as the nonfiction pieces/essays, and they must somehow relate to/incorporate the seven conditions.
Poems must be at least one page and under ten (no epics are accepted here, we sincerely apologize).
Art submissions must encapsulate the seven conditions in some way. Much like the writing submissions, we do not wish to limit your artistic abilities. Make sure whatever sketch you do make can fit on one or two magazine-sized pages.
*SUBMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED BUT CHECK BACK SOON FOR OPENINGS FOR VOLUME II*
